    Vitalize! compatible extensions

I'm getting after compiling projects with some of the extensions information that:

"Vitalize! extensions need to be updated to display this page. The update process is very fast. Would you like to do it now?

    Yes No"

I'm doing it under my Firefox 5 on 64bit Windows 7 Ultimate, and nothing happens even after half hour - Binary Array, Contrast object are just examples.

Are those extensions compatible or not?

    Re: Vitalize! compatible extensions

If it can't download the extensions then they don't have a version for vitalize
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

    Re: Vitalize! compatible extensions

If they don't have version for Vitalize, Vitalize shows only the logo. On some of them it gives that prompt... ATM I'm trying to make Xport list for Vitalize!. Cause I finished all other Exporters.

    Re: Vitalize! compatible extensions

OK so I went again manually through all 474 extensions to check those 'compatible' with modern browsers (Google Chrome 12, Mozilla Firefox 5 and Internet Explorer 9) and results are terrifying!

Tests were done on 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate installed as Polish but using English GUI with MMF2 Developer b252 with Flash and all current exporters in closed betatests (n the newest versions).

The tests consisted of Active with bouncing ball movement and 1 event - leave play area -> bounce and additional extension.

As I gather properly compiled and working extensions were allowing me to run the file and see bouncing active and not compatible one were showing only Vitalize! logo.

Sometimes I got communicate about extension requiring download but that didn't done anything under Firefox nor Chrome, on IE9 it shown Vitalize! update but after clicking Yes for Run nothing happened.

It took me couple days to verify all of them and results are terrifying!

Extensions which are officially declared as Vitalize! 4 compatible in most are not working AT ALL under any of those browsers - what's more they even don't declare that the update is available for them to work:

    Data Grid
    Jostick
    Quiz

    BP1

    Advanced Path Movement
    Advanced Direction
    Advanced Game Board
    Binary
    Dynamic Array
    Dictionary
    Easy Grid
    IconList
    Int64
    Iso Grid 2
    Lens
    MoveIt
    Move Safely 2
    Mersenne Twister Random
    Particle Spray
    Progress Bar
    Random Pool
    SaveGame
    Speech Bubble
    String Parser
    Text Blitter
    XML Parser

    BP2

    Advanced Math
    Data Store 2
    Fast Function
    Focus
    Input
    Mode7Ex
    Popup Message
    Randomizer
    Timer
    Title Bar
    Tokens

    BP3

    Joystick
    Pathfind
    SortX
    SSortX
    StoreX

    Other

    3D Actives
    Advanced Race Car Object 2
    Calculate Text Rect
    Easy Detector
    Get Movement
    Integer split
    Pixel Object
    Sphax Formatted
    Sphax Mmf2params
    Sphax Messages Box
    Sphax Window Life
    String tokenizer
    Text Threshold
    Time Stamp

Extensions which aren't declared on Vitalize thread as Compatible with Vitalize but are showing information about update to make them operative (what doesn't work like I mentioned above):

    Binary array
    Font embeded
    For Each
    Formatted Object
    Function loop
    Function eggtimer
    Gwerdy Movement Controller
    Image manipulator
    IIF
    InAndOut
    Josystick2
    kbd
    key object
    Lacewing Server
    Lamp Lamp Sheet
    Live Account
    MCI
    Messeage box
    Mouse Object
    Move by bezier
    Named variable
    Network
    Nifflas Object
    Object Flagger
    Phizix chipmunk Engine
    Platform Movement object
    Platform Swing Object
    Popup Messeage Object 2.
    Position controller
    Preset Arrays
    Prime Object
    Process Viewer
    Progress bar
    Shutdown Object
    Slowloop
    Surface Object
    textfile
    Time X
    Tray Icon
    Value Packer
    Windows Focus Object
    XLua

So ATM there are only 49 working extensions for Vitalize! 4 which run under Modern Web-browsers. And 97 which aren't and in theory should.

    Re: Vitalize! compatible extensions

To Vitalize something, I found I had to send it to Yves... he's not exactly the guy with the most free time, so that might be why. There's not any documentation about how make it Vitalize-compatible included in the rSDK (or afaik the SDK) so that also might be why.

    Re: Vitalize! compatible extensions

Yeah I am aware of that SortaCore but there is that list of nearly 70 extensions which are declared by Yves as compatible and they doesn't seem to work now were they used to.

    Re: Vitalize! compatible extensions

I have just come upon this thread...
Now I understand why my .ccn won't load in chrome... ( see my post earlier today)

However , I can say the quiz object does work with IE 9 ( 32 bits)

I also got the message " an update is needed , but it didn't freeze the loading in IE9, it went on to show my app.

I only described how it's behaving on my machine, or at least used to.
