    MMF2s Extensions and flash

I was wondering if you can use the user made extensions if your going to compile the game as a .swf. I was really interested in using the Easy Grid and the Mode7 extensions but if I can't put my games online, I don't know what I would do with them.

    Re: MMF2s Extensions and flash

Some are ported to Flash, and some are not. You can see if they are ported by setting the application build type to flash and then look on the All Object menu for inserting a new object. Only the flash compatible extensions will be shown. There are some flash extensions that are flash only in the flash beta forum, and some extensions need the flash port to be downloaded separately from the normal download.

Ah, so not all extensions work with flash then. How could I find flash ports? Is it very common for extensions not to work in flash?

    Re: MMF2s Extensions and flash

Well, seeing as a large majority of extensions were made before the Flash runtime was even known about, yes are are very few extensions ported to flash. It isn't hard to find the flash ports of them, though. Ask and you shall receive.

    Re: MMF2s Extensions and flash

So is there a list or a site somewhere that has flash ported extensions? Just because an extension came out before the flash run time does that necessarily mean it won't work or just make it more likely that it won't?
