I'm using Global Active Objects to hold some strings and values for some units in a game I'm making.
They're "Hero 1", "Hero 2" etc. up to "Hero 8". They are normal Active Objects with "Global Object" checked under Memory Options.
The problem I'm having is the inconsistency of values and strings traveling over to other frames. They simply don't do it. I select "Hero 1" through 8 and type the value 2 under Alt Val A in Frame 1.
So every single "Hero", over all the frames they're copied into, should have their Alt Val A set to 2 in every frame, right? But they don't. Only in Frame 1. If I have previously set it to 5 or something in say Frame 2, it will stay 5 regardless of what I do in Frame 1.
Another problem is that when I'm typing values with several objects selected, it sometimes doesn't type into all objects (sometimes it do).
I'm using MMF2 Dev. 2.0 R249 HWA.
