    Global Active Objects

I'm using Global Active Objects to hold some strings and values for some units in a game I'm making.
They're "Hero 1", "Hero 2" etc. up to "Hero 8". They are normal Active Objects with "Global Object" checked under Memory Options.

The problem I'm having is the inconsistency of values and strings traveling over to other frames. They simply don't do it. I select "Hero 1" through 8 and type the value 2 under Alt Val A in Frame 1.

So every single "Hero", over all the frames they're copied into, should have their Alt Val A set to 2 in every frame, right? But they don't. Only in Frame 1. If I have previously set it to 5 or something in say Frame 2, it will stay 5 regardless of what I do in Frame 1.

Another problem is that when I'm typing values with several objects selected, it sometimes doesn't type into all objects (sometimes it do).

    I'm using MMF2 Dev. 2.0 R249 HWA.

I was never using global objects, but... Why don't you just store data in array? It's not that difficult.

Why you won't update your MMF to build 251 or even 252 soon.

It's working here, I just tried. Maybe try to update MMF2 to b251?

    Re: Global Active Objects

I don't update because it says it's the latest version... Guess I have to download from forum. Thx.

    Okay I updated.
I still have the bug but I identified it.

    have several active objects, 1 2 3 4 5.
make them global and put in several frames.
select all when changing a value. this is the bug, it won't change (for all objects) in the other frames.
but if you select a single active object, it will change across all frames.
