    Binary files (application loader issue)

Ok I have come to the part where i uploaded all the screenshots and filled everything in, now I opend application loader and I need to upload some binary files? I can't remember if I actually uploaded something somewhere, I ran the emulator but there's no option for saving the app. I can't upload the zip map (the one that came from mmf2)

Am I missing something here, my current status is waiting for upload.

Anyone know what I did wrong or where I can find the files to upload?

It gets build in a release folder inside the folder where your source files are.

I am getting my mac setup back together so I can remember all this stuff I haven't touched it since I got Cave Diver Tommy out.

If you go to Go -> Go to Folder and type in ~/Library/Developer/XCode

The build files are under DerivedData.

Is this what you're looking for?

You can also right click on the project or build if i remember correctly and select find in solution (or folder) and it will directly open the folder where the compiled files are (in Xcode)

Re: Binary files (application loader issue)

Ok I found the folder it says appname-deddlmdjwdjnjkdwkdkhwdwn (sort of)
But when I start (Application loader) it will ask me at one point to add the application for the intunes store.

And when I browse to that folder it will show all sorts of files and folders but nothing I can upload. I browsed the whole folder.

There's nothing to upload all I see the following folders.

    -index
    (info.plist (document)

This folder is loaded with other documents but the all stay grey when I use Application loader? Like it want's to upload one file or something.

    Breaking my head over this.

You need to compile an IPA to upload to the app store. This is your "binary".

Organiser within xCode has a simple Validate and Submit feature to upload your app once it's ready and has been archived properly.

The video is a great help!

I managed to get my project archived but once I try and validate or submit it it gives an error after I enter my developer login details.aaaAARG

Gonna need 2 days sleep after this ^^

Re: Binary files (application loader issue)

The file it generates is a .app file, when dealing with the apple side (to upload to apple) you need to zip the .app file. The application loader is very useful for checking if things are done right.
