Re: Sponsor Preloaders

Here is the Flash Preloader extension.
[color:#33FF33][size:8pt]It is Developer-Only and requires build #251 or later.

Features:
• Embed Preloaders
• Transformations
• Show/Hide Anytime

It includes an example preloader swf from Jacob, and a MMF2 swf file with that preloader embedded. There is also a help guide.

Re: Sponsor Preloaders

Excellent extension!!!

But not luck here  , I only get a flashing window. ( a single frame with both actions mentioned in the help and the file in data elements)

what am i doing wrong? the loader works ok with MMF2Dev but with no sound.

If i build and play alone everything ok, but when put inside a frame a start of frame, i get this flashing window.

here is the link to the loader

Thanks for this useful extension

Re: Sponsor Preloaders

I was able to embed the provided .swf preloader, but I didn't try with a preloader of mine. Here is my feedback so far.

Don't take it bad Stephen, but I wouldn't call this extension 'preloader' since the embedded .swf file(s) can't actually be displayed during the time the application is downloaded by the browser. This extension is more a of an .swf movie displayer (including sponsor splash screens). For the latter purpose it's quite nice.

- I could use expressions for the positionX/Y, scaleWidth/Height
- I could use an IsVisible condition
- I could use a feature to toggle soundOn/Off
- When I set the height of the object at the start of frame, right after having loaded an .swf file, the object is invisible. I have to change the height again to make the object reappear.
- I don't see any difference between the provided preloader and example. Wouldn't it be better to have the example as an .mfa file?
