So, if there is an iOS export module, does that...

Does that mean that there could be a chance that MMF2 games could theoretically work on Macs?

Not that I am a Mac user, I'm a PC user. However, I see this question pop up a lot. Whenever a fan game is being made, some people ask if a Mac version of that fan game could be done.

Seeing that iOS 'IS' Apple software, after all, and we now have the iOS export module, right? So would it be that hard to make an export module for Macs? If that could be the case, I could start working on going back to designing MMF2 games.

One of the reasons I kind of dropped from the scene was because MMF2 games had no compatibility for Mac users. Well, there were some other reasons too, but this was one of the minor reasons. But if MMF2 can do all of this by now, I could really see a big improvement with the software and its capabilities.

If an extension is ported to Java you can use the Mac Java build in MMF2 Developer. However for iOS I'm not sure, I thought this was mainly for mobile devices...I too am interested in the answer to this question - if iOS is more popular than Java for whatever reason, it may mean more extensions will come to exist for it than for Java.

We are working on the Mac runtime right now. It should be in beta stage in the next weeks. It should be final before the end of the year.

the anacaonda exporter allows me to send demos to mac and linux people. I would have bought it if the rumors of a macOS exporter hadn't surfaced.
