Well, you said strings don't support transparency, so you must have the very original version.

So you don't see the topic in the forum labelled "SWF Exporter - Update #2 (build 251)" ?

I agree that not enough care goes into polishing the exporter. There are some downright annoying faults that don't seem to be high on the priority list (poor rotations, useless mp3 error reports, no way to loop music, no alpha effects).

Another frustrating factor is that there's no official way to report bugs. I've reported a few contradictions between the flash and non-flash builds via the forums, but they seem to get lost amongst all the other posts. It's hard to improve a product when there's no framework in place to record the product faults.

Re: Hugely impressed but annoyed at the same time...

Good points. On one hand, it's great to see all the new runtimes being released, it's very exciting, but on the other hand, clearly the resources are then very scarce for further improvement of the existing exporters, which is a shame.

Also completely agree on the bug reporting. There should be a systematic tracking in place of all properly reported bugs with priorities and statuses (progress tracking).

With Anaconda, I picked Google Code for issue tracking.

It works great, but I'm not sure whether or not CT can use its issue tracker since they're not hosting an open-source project under a standard open-source license. Maybe if they host the SDKs as open-source, it could work
