    microphone input

    Could someone direct me to an extension which enables MMF2 to allow microphone input and store the recording?

    Or you could use the old, old Microphone object which just records it and saves it to a wav file.

    By the way, why have you posted in the TGF2 section?

    Is this possible to do in Clickteam Fusion 2.5 as well as the games factory 2, because I was thinking of making a strategy game where if the player speaks into the microphone and says “units group 1 attack town hall” then they would walk up to the town hall object and attack it, until destroyed you know like games like clash of clans and boom beach and field runners and age of empires except in mine you command your forces with your voice like a real war general.

    Someone was working on a voice recognition object a while back but it never came to fruition.

    At this point, you'd have to handle the voice recognition yourself, probably the best approach is to tap into the Microsoft speech recognition API (there are Active-X controls that can do this). There is nothing built into Fusion that can handle it.

    For voice recognition, you can use PocketSphinx.

    The idea of this extension is that you are fully free which language and which vocabulary you want to include. You can as you want just include commands for a RTS game and it will be rather fast. But you need to load everything on your own, that is why it means more work. It is not a "out of the box" extension. If you want to include a whole language, it is not optimized enough at the moment to be usable in a real project.

    So how soon can we hope to get a microphone object?, possibly in Clickteam Fusion 3 perhaps?

    PocketSphinx is already using your microphone to recognize voice. What do you want more?

    No, I just never heard of that extension before... The extension installed but did not load with the document...

    I tested with build R291.6 and it cannot be loaded. I haven't tried this extension for a so long time, I need to build everything again and check it.
