Easy grid object

Hey! The game I'm making on need grid movement, and I've been said to use a custom movement or the easy grid object. Since I'm still a pretty big newbie with mmf2, I went along with the second option. Now, the question is how do I use it? I try to make that when you press "w" or "up" it goes one square up on a grid and so on. I've read the forums and all I've found is this: "SnapX( "Easy Grid object", X( "Active" ))" without the quotes, the problem is I still don't get it to work with the events. Could somebody please explain this in more detail not in just one sentence for a newbie, and how to make it work. Thanks alot in advance clickers!

Thanks! This works alot better than the "easy" grid object, I think I got the easy grid object to work but I had some probs with the movement speed of my char when used with grid object, so this engine rocks! Simple and yet so powerful, thanks again!
