A way to make a Sub-App's background transparent

Same as title: I wonder if there's a method to make transparent a Sub-application's background in HWA mode.

The Kernel Object can find windows and set their transparency levels. I'm not sure if this works in HWA, though.

Re: A way to make a Sub-App's background transparent

I'm using a modal sub-application from another frame of the same main application, and it runs in HWA.

Just tried your method, and it works, but it makes semitransparent (or totally transparent) the entire window/sub-application, not its background only.

I don't think Windows supports a translucent background natively. You could probably fake it by figuring out the colors under the window and combining them with the actual window colors. But that would take tons of work and would probably be pretty slow.
