Embedding MMF2 .swf in Flash CS or FlashDevelop?

Has anyone managed to successfully embed an MMF2 generated .swf file into Flash CS, or FlashDevelop? If so, how?

When I try to import into Flash CS, the .swf (which works just fine outside) has a width and a height of zero, it's just a little, white transform circle which you can drag around the stage.

When I try to [embed..] with FlashDevelop, I get a weird error:

TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.

If I try that same technique in Flash CS5, I get the same result.

Any help would be super-appreciated!

I did some extensive experimenting with this issue last year and the conclusion was that, in its current form, SWFs created with the MMF runtime could not be embedded.

I think I remember reading that there might be a fix for this in the future, but I really can't remember. Perhaps someone else could help to refresh my memory.

Did you try decompiling it and reusing the result in your container?

Have you installed the latest update to the Flash exporter, which comes with 252? I thought that the issue had been fixed, though I haven't tried it...
