We've got wonderful Runtime object by Jamie which allows us to detect under which runtime our application is running.
Thanks to it we would be able to make 1 GAME with 1 MFA file for SEVERAL Runtimes and USE SPECIFIC Runtime Extensions or CODE by ENABLING/DISABLING appreciative groups.
This is why I kindly ask/request. Would it be possible to add developer preference (at least for MMF2 Developer) which will enable to compile non-compatible code (as long it will be disabled) over to another runtimes.
Like iOS EditBox to Android, or Accelerometer to Flash or transparency to Java.
IT IS already Possible with standard EXE runtime so I don't see anything to stand against it! What is more if we set Object semi-transparent from preferences it compiles perfectly fine but the runtime just ignores the transparency, whereas code request blocks us from compiling.
Especially that I don't want to cancel at the same time warning messages as well as removing of current functionality, but to provide more advanced users more comfortable framework to create multiplatform projects with extensions specific to the platform in one project file.
Benefits are significant, and the most epic of all is - if you correct the bug, you correct it in one source file and we can add option to Export for All runtimes which will put us ahead our competition one step more.
