I am redesigning movement in my online game that is 4 years old and I thought I could improve it..well I cannot see the way. Basically each object (its an instance of one Active) has X,Y values that store coordinates that are being sent by server.
Also I can easily have something like:
Alt.value X of Object<> X pos of Object
Alt.value Y of Object<> Y pos of Object ----> Move Object toward coordinates (value X, value Y)
Well but what to use? E.g. Move it extension does not move multiple instances at once. I cannot use built-in movements as I need to set direction independently on the movement. Simple increase/decrease of X,Y coordinates is quite ackward if I need variable speed.
Any advice here? Thanks
