    Local Active Picture dont show up on device (but does on simulator)

    Hi!

    I've a active picture loaded at start of frame "pano.jpg"
    i've drag and drop it to the ressource folder in xcode,
    it shows up in the simulator, but on the device it is black.

    any idea why?! the pic-size is 2638x600 pixel. thanks for your help!

    Could be do to with the filename: iPhone is case sensitive but simulator is not, so if your file is pano.jpg and you have an action to load it as pano.JPG then it would not load on iPhone, but would on simulator.
    Another possibility is sheer memory, 2638x600 is a very large image - try it at 300x600 or similar to see if it loads then, if it does, then you could try chopping it up into smaller images so the ones off screen don't need to be in memory. Even though JPGs are compressed they still need to be decompressed to display them

    the name of the file is fine, i think. both are set to "pano.jpg".

    another question: I've used the active picture because of changing the hotspot - is it possible to change it on an active object? i havent found this condition...
