    Getting Nearest Enemy

So I want to make it so the player can build turrets that shoot at the nearest enemy. I know how to launch objects in certain directions and everything, but how to I get the nearest enemy object?

The Advanced Direction Object can do this, I think - have a look at the demonstration MFAs for it in the MMF2 Examples/ folder. It has two actions - one of which builds up a list of objects in order of proximity from a point (for which you can use the player object), and one to retrieve the ID of the first object in that list.

I can't seem to find the advanced direction object anywhere, and I looked at all of the examples, but none of them seem to have anything on what I'm looking for. I feel like I'm being left out on something here... I've never heard of or seen the advanced direction object.

Do you need to install one of the extension packs to get it?

Thanks Yikes, but it says that the page no longer exists. Is there anywhere else I can get it?

Okay, so is the advanced direction object something that you can add to any frame like other objects (such as active objects) after it's been downloaded? Or does it need to be accessed in a special way? You guys have to pretend I don't know anything, because I pretty much don't.

Yes, all objects and extensions are inserted much the same way as an active object.

Okay because when I try to insert the advanced direction object, I can't find it in the insert object window. I've looked around inside the Multi Media Fusion 2 folder and the folders inside it, and I found it inside the Multimedia Fusion 2\Data\Runtime\Java folder. Is this how it should be? Does it need another version of itself in the extensions folder or something? How can I make it possible to insert the object into my game?

Re-download Bonus pack 1 and run it again.
