    Extensions???

So a lot of times, I try opening an MMF2 file from online, but it says that it requires a certain extension to use, and to install the extension then click "retry." The problem is I have no idea how to get extensions and I don't know quite what they are. Can someone give me a link to a list of available extensions or something? Thanks.

Edit: Oh, I kinda forgot to mention how to actually add them to MMF2. You can just run it if it's an installer but if it's a zip file containing folders labelled 'Data' and 'Extensions'...

-Go to 'Program Files' on your computer and find where you installed MMF2
-Within the Multimedia Fusion 2 folder you should see folders labelled 'Data' and 'Extensions' (just like the zip file you just downloaded)
-Copy or extract the files from the 'Data>Runtime' and 'Extension' folders in the zip file to the corresponding folders in MMF2

That list was last updated in May. I recommend ExtensionView, you can download it from my signature.

Finity, I understand everything except what folder to extract them to. I don't get what the corresponding folders are.

Just drag it into your C:\Program Files (x86)\Multimedia Fusion 2\ folder. The \Extensions\ and \Data\ folders should automatically ask to merge.

Forgive me, but I'm still confused. Could I get a walkthrough, including ever single step, even down to each click? I'm not the greatest with computers. And thanks Jacob, but which files exactly do I drag? Do I drag a folder and not just a whole bunch of extensions? If so, which folder do I drag? And can't I just copy and paste the folder or files? Also, would someone mind explaining exactly how extensions work? This might help me a little bit.

The extensions are set up like this

    Name
    Data
    Runtime
    Name.mfx
    Extensions
    Name.mfx

The Data and Extensions folder correspond with the Data and Extensions folders in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Multimedia Fusion 2. You need to move the contents of the Data folder from the extension and place it in the Data folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Multimedia Fusion 2. You move the contents of the Extensions folder and place it in its corresponding folder as well. You can do this manually, by copying and pasting the contents, or you can copy both folders (Data and Extensions) and paste directly into C:\Program Files (x86)\Multimedia Fusion 2. The folders will line up and it will ask you to merge. You click yes. Then everything is fine. Rather than copying, I like to open two separate windows and just drag the Data and Extensions folders over into my program files folder, because it is faster.
