    game not working on Facebook

I made this game with MMF2 and built it as SWF. It works on my website @ mystreetsboro.com. I wanted to make it a playable game app on Facebook. I filled out the developer info, even made my site SSL secure like they require but when I go play the app in Facebook I get this error "HTTP verb used to access this page is not allowed". I think it's because in the HTML code that's in the page witch I took right from the build has the embed command. I used Expression web to build my site and it doesn't like tht command either, says its XHTML 1.o Traditional not permitted. Is there a way I can still make the flash object work without that command?

    Facebook error>error.jpg

    MSExpression(xhtml) error>error2.jpg

Ok, I think I fixed it. I changed the code from embed to object data It's working on my site, just need to see if it's working on Facebook. Thank god for Web 3 schools.

Well, it's still not working on Facebook, giving me that same error. Is SWF even a good build for a Facebook AP or should I build it as something else?

I wonder what that Error means exactly, is there a way to contact Facebook?

The error means that the wrong kind of request was used to get to the page - a GET when it should have been a POST, or vice versa, or any number of other ones. As to what that means on a deeper level... I can't really say.

You need to use the html file from the help folder to embed into FB. Also, can you screenshot your FB App settings?

I'm not using any Java script or ASP, just the code to display the SWF(object) of my game. Right now, that's the only thing on the HTML page.

Hmm, Not sure what you mean by help folder. I ended up deleting that Ap and creating a new in FB. I just changed the name a little. I also have the web page of the Ap complete blank except for the word test. lolJust want to make sure my page is showing up in FB. But now, I can't figure out how to get to my new Ap. I had to pay like 70 bucks to make my website secure with SSL cert. I hope it was not all for not. Anyway, here is a screen shot of my FB developer Ap settings for new game > I only did the Basic settings, do I need to go into the Auth Dialog or Advanced?

It's still giving me that same error! I think it's something in the HTML that Expression web is putting in there.

Well, I took all the code out except the html, head, title and body tags. And it still ain't work'n. I signed up with the FB developers group and have been chatting with them and they think it's my hosting company's fought. I called go-daddy and they said its not.

This one guys says that FB uses a get or post command to retrieve my page from my site and stick in FB's canvas page with an invisible form and that there is stackoverflow and not being handled properly. WTF is stackoverflow?

bobofet. A stack overflow occurs when too much memory is used on the call stack. The call stack contains a limited amount of memory, often determined at the start of the program.

    Ok thank you nivram.

Well, I got it to work. At least having anything from my site show up in the FB chrome. I had to make the cavas page aspx since Im using a windows server with IIS7. If I was using Linux I have to use a PHP page. Thanks to developers group on FB. Now, to replace the word test with my SWF file html code...*crosses fingers*

BTW Godaddy is usually very helpful but this last time when I called them about my page not showing up in FB they hadn't a clue. I even asked them how they handle form submits with get or post and static html and they said it was beyond them and they weren't responsible on there end that it had to be FB.
