"Locking" game files? +Unlocking from inside the app?

Don't know how to describe what I mean lol.

Anyway, I was thinking about giving the game's original soundtrack and concept artwork(character bios etc) as a "reward" to the player for progressing within my game, but I'm not sure if this is possible in any way. Obviously I'd need to use the music files, but also still keep them out of the user's reach somehow.

Put your sound files in a disabled group, then to unlock them enable the group.

I mean the actual files. Let's say for example when the player completes the game, they will get the title theme mp3 file to the game folder or something.

You could include them in an encrypted zip file and extract them when needed maybe.

Yeah Stephen's suggestion is probably the best. There's an extension for zip files. I don't know if it can extract only some of the files at a time that you specify or not. If not, then you'll need multiple zip files, which could be a pain if you plan on having a bunch.

Hmm yeah it would be a pain, because I was thinking about adding all music files one by one along the way. And with the size of the game in my vision, that would be way too much hassle.

Many big games use music files that are not playable by conventional means, or are stored in some big music library file, but I suppose that's not possible with MMF? I mean although less convenient, it would work, because I could just use some weird files for the game music and then give a link/password to something else, like a dropbox link. And I guess I could just give all the music at once at the game finish point too, but I'd need to make the used-by-the-game files unusable for the player.
