    Antialiased rotations?

Is there a way to have antialiasing on rotated objects? I thought I saw an extension for that, but I can't seem to find it.
    -thanks

With the "official" runtimeflash-file -no. With my "inofficial" runtimeflash-file - yes!

I really need antialiased rotations as well. Even if it's unofficial right now, it would be very nice to have that feature.

In the last version of the Flash runtime, the second parameter of the Set Angle action has an effect : if is it set to 1, it sets the "smoothing" property of the object. You should try it.

I believe I have the latest version, but but the smoothing effect only shows up in the editor and not the compiled flash file. The latest version of MMF2 posted in the main forum updates the flash exporter, right?

OK I'll have a look. This is strange as the code is really simple.

In the Active Shape Flash port thread there is a visual comparison (Right click View Image to see it full size) of the Anti-aliasing between the Flash and EXE versions

    http://community.clickteam.com/showthread.php?t=59820

Basically in Flash it's much nicer and for MMF2's EXE runtime i don't think the Anti-aliasing algorithm is correct. If you could get all runtimes to display Anti-aliasing nicely like Flash does it would be an amazing improvement for the program.

    Hi Francois,

Was there any word on antialiased rotations? Sorry if I've missed something in another topic.

    Cheers!

Well, the smoothing property of the object is set when you use the antialias parameter of the action. So it is implemented in Flash.
In the C++ runtime, I'm sure Yves does the best he can. This depends more on DirectX and the graphic card than him.
