    Gimbabwe - To answer your original question you can use Active System Box to display your text.
    Not sure if this is supported by Android Exporter, but it is for iOS Exporter. Make it multi-line, you can resize it as you want, change the font, font size, colour, etc. You can make the box background transparent if you don't want a box around it as well as controlling the left, right, top & bottom margins and left, centred or right aligned.

    Adding sound effects?

    I copied the code that was written earlier and it works perfectly. I have it set so that every every .02 seconds it creates a new character and every .04 seconds it plays a text blitting sound effect. The problem is, I can't find a way to get that sound effect to stop when the text stops. Any ideas or suggestions?

    I did something before where I'd end every text string with an asterisk, so to display the text it'd go through every letter and make the little sound as long as that text letter wasn't an asterisk.

    I believe I used the mid$ function to check this. Like-

    If Mid$(strSOURCETEXT, CurrentLetter,1) <> "*" then
    -> make the sound
    -> display the letter

    Just a suggestion, maybe something like that would work for you too.
