Is it possible to pass an installation path to ICP file at run time via command line?

    Hello,
We are creating an updater exe package (e.g., updater.exe) with Install Creator Pro. We have a program which launches our updater.exe and would like to dynamically pass it the installation path via the command line. Is this possible?

I don't believe it is possible, as ICP installers only has 3 command line switches (none of which are silent switches, i might add), but the installer is able to get the installation path dynamically either using a registry key or INI file in the windows directory (according to the help file).

If the installation path is stored in a registry key, you can just get it from there. If the key/path doesn't exist, it will use the default directory you choose.

I know that this isn't quite the answer you were looking for, however maybe a Yves, or someone else from Clickteam, will add this feature in a future version (and maybe a silent install switch, that i want)

Hmm, yes we could add a new command line option to the next update. Unless you already have a registry key that contains the install path?
