    Jumping using mouse

I have an active object with the platform movement1 but instead of pressing the shift for jump I want to press a button with the mouse to do the jump.
is there a easy way to pull this off? I don't want to use the controls thing) it's for iPhone in the future

The Control X extension can simulate keypresses.

On mouse click, simulate shift key.

Control X probably doesn't work for iPhone though. But then again, iPhone's don't have a mouse.....

I don't think it's possible with the built-in Platform Movement. You can use the Platform Movement Object, that has the Action Jump, that you can put in a "User clicks" event.

I'm working on a project right now that does exactly that. K1kk0z90 is correct, use the PMO. Or you could use a custom movement if you want to make one. The PMO is working fine for me though.

Yeah, I would always recommend the Platform Movement Object or a custom movement over the built-in one (no matter the circumstances). They are much more flexible and customizable, and also less glitchy.

In case you don't have PMO, it's part of Bonus Pack 1.
