Scaled objects go back to normal size when pasted to background? Bug?

When I scale an active object, and then I choose "paste to background" or "add to backdrop" and then destroy, the new background picture is not a picture of the scaled object, but of the original size object.
Is this a bug? And is there a way to fix it?

Are you on the latest version? I remember that this was a long-standing bug, but I can't recall if it was fixed.

yep, I have the latest version :P So it still hasn't been fixed. Maybe someone should look into that for the next build.

    Hi!

I have the latest version (of Fusion 2.5 Developer) but this bug still hasn't been fixed (five years have elapsed from the previous post!)

Maybe someone should look into that for the next build...

If I remember correctly. The problem was something like this: The pasted images are created as backdrop objects or something like that and you can't scale them.
