    Its among many peoples current wishlist for MMF3, unfortunately theres no strong searching methods in the event editor for MMF2.
    If its really a difficult proposition though, through a bloated event editor, there is a technique you can use in a pinch

    Go to the event list editor, and open all event groups. Then print the page as a document, normally to an .xps file through MS's xps writer.
    Then open that xps file, and you can search for strings. If you turned off icons in the event list editor and used names instead, you can even search for those names

    You can filter events by object by clicking on that object, but that's as specific as you can get.
    Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

    How about putting stuff in groups, that always helps me keep track of things.

    When you've got 293 groups and 6756 lines of code like me, having a trick up your sleeve for finding all instances of a Flag in a qualifier or something, comes in real handy.

    Thats insane.
    What are you creating?
    How do you keep track of everything?
    Do the lines of code include the comments?

    Searching by string and value variables will be awesome too.
    (I know that's not the topic but is there an auto-completion in the editor (with variable, object name...) planned for mmf3, if not, could it be added ?)

    You can take a looksy here;
    http://create-games.com/project.asp?...=1617&fid=4726

    But yeah that includes comments and even groups of comments, but not including the substantial amount of lua, hlsl and custom extensions.
    If you start a project with an idea of how big it will be and order everything nicely, its possible to create some nifty filing systems!

    Also please include option to adjust colors of the groups in mmf3 please. So you can easily scroll over your code and find the right area or groups based on color. Would make it both much more organized and easier to quickly find what you are looking for.
