    Compare Input Dialog with different Strings dont work for me

    Hi!

    I've a input dialog in my app, where the user have to input one of 10 different codes.

    I stored the different codes in string paragraphs. I set it up like this:

    Input Code Ok Button Clicked
    + Input$( "Input code" )=paragraph$( "codes", 1)
    OR
    Input Code Ok Button Clicked
    + Input$( "Input code" )=paragraph$( "codes", 2)
    OR
    Input Code Ok Button Clicked
    + Input$( "Input code" )=paragraph$( "codes", 3)

    ....

    and so on. the problem is, that this dont work for me. it just tests the first line, ignores everything under the OR parameter. I've tried OR Filtered too,
    I've also tried single events - but no luck!

    thanks for your help!

    edit: I've found a quick workaround - it's no solution for the problem, but it works for me.

    I stored the data of the input dialog in a string and compared this with the different codes. not as nice as the direct way, but ok

    What kind of object is "Input code" ? Normally with Edit Boxes you use Edittext$ and not Input$, so I am confused as to what object you are using.

    I think the problem is that MMF code stops running while the Input Dialog is open, so when you close the Dialog window ( press OK ) the MMF code starts running again but now there is no Input Dialog$ to compair to ( since the window is now gone ).
    I might be totally wrong about this.
    Anyway, here is a suggested solution. ( 2 conditions )

    If Input Code Ok Button Clicked
    -->
    set StringA to Input$

    StringA = paragraph$( "codes", 1)
    OR
    StringA = paragraph$( "codes", 2)
    OR
    StringA = paragraph$( "codes", 3)
    -->
    Set StringA to ""
    Do your stuff
