    About Unicode module

    Hi

Sorry for this foolish question because i cant find a good topic or manual for this module.
    anyway its my question:

For an adventure game we have many dialogs. Is this module changes all conversations and other texts automatically to another language? if is correct.how work it?
is it a exporter text file for changes custom special font language and does import and compile it again?

    Many thanks
    Mehrdad

Unicode uses more bytes per character than the normal "ASCII" type. Being the English language only uses 52 letters (including uppercase & lowercase) + numbers at 0-9 + punctuation, ASCII is normally sufficient for Western languages.
Unicode allows advanced characters like Chinese symbols to be used, by allowing around 68,719,476,736 characters, whereas ASCII is under 255.

I don't know how you can fit 68 billion characters in two bytes, care to explain?

You didn't understand what this module does. This module is actually a different version of MMF2 that supports Unicode character sets like Japanese, Hebrew, etc. It internally saves the character strings in Unicode format.

This is not a translation module, nor a multi-language module.
