Any hope of getting this plug-in supported for IOS and Android? I'm going to start on a platformer project and really want to use tile-maps, but I want to support IOS and Android devices as well...

I would also love this, it is a great extension, but it's really not good to lock yourself out of porting to other platforms by using extensions that are not supported cross platform... .

Flash and Windows is all I can do for now I'm afraid. There's not a big chance that you'll see another platform except when another person tries to port it.

Is it a hard extension to port if someone else would be interested in doing it? How many man hours?

Well, he needs a certain degree of skill. The port could probably done in a single day if he's good... but the thing is, there aren't many experienced Android and iOS devs. Anyone who's interested can take a look at the code, I suppose, but bear in mind that it involves reading binary files and rendering tiles with custom rendering routines (I have no idea how difficult this is to implement in iOS/Android).

This doesn't seem to work right in Flash...

More details please. All I can say is: It works right in Flash for me, and someone is making an MMO with it and it works fine there, as well

I think it might have something to do with the "Fill area with tile" action.

A .ZIP file is attached with the MFA file and the SWF file.

Great work HGF, two bugs in one! "Fill layer area" would fill the wrong area in Flash and wrapped layers would cause the render function to crash (which made it not render at all).
Also, I fixed per tile render callbacks in Flash (for DizzyDoo).
