    Throwing/Shooting into the screen

I am new to MMF2 & game creation.
I'm trying to create a simple game similar to Angry Wife. Im looking to throw a shot glass at the bar to break the bottles stacked behind the bar.

I had it working by launching a shot glass object at the bottles using a slight angle setting (11 o'clock) for the direction.
Then I set the scene up using layers & now I cant make the collision.

Can someone point me in the right direction?
    Thanks

You would have to set the shot glass to the layer for the collision to happen. "move to layer"

That worked but resulted in a follow up problem.
In an effort to keep my post short I left out something that may have been important.
I have a bartender who moves back & forth in front of(a different layer) than the bottles. If you hit bartender you lose.

So to complicated my question...can the shot glass collide on 2 layers?
    thanks

Have a second bar tender object hidden behind the original. One for both layers.

Beat me to it Chris!! LOL Do you have the shot glass getting smaller as it travels into the screen? When you get this done,.I'd like to play it.

Or, you can check for collisions between the bar tender and glasses on the original layer, then move the bar tender to the new layer, check for conditions and then move it back again. This way, glasses on each layer are checked, plus you never see the bar tender move layer because MMF only updates the screen after your final event has been checked.

Thanks for the help & vote of confidence in the game idea. Hopefully I am able to create it. This is my first attempt & I learn by tutorials & asking questions.
