Thumbs up Nice "new" ActiveX Controls

I was just playing around with the "new" ActiveX-Controls and i found some very nice Ones. There' s a Google-Earth-Plugin (but to complex for me and it seems to only run online (perhaps Flash)).
And there' s a very nice other one called "Microsoft InkEdit Control". That allows to "draw" letters with the Mouse and the Input gets recognized by the Control and translated into a normal "String-Character".
It' s even possible to reveice the "recognized Text" as String and use it further in MMF...

Well, sorry if this is already known. I was just excited that ActiveX seems to have a lot more potential than i first imagined. Also it seems like there are some new Controls with enhanced "accessability".

    LG,

It loads ActiveX controls from your computer, none of them come with the ActiveX object or MMF2.
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

These ActiveX controls will have been put on your computer when you installed other software, which means that a klik application which uses them won't work on anyone else's computer unless they happen to have the same software installed. You likely wouldn't be able to distribute them with your application as that would be a breach of copyright/piracy laws, and even if you could, most users wouldn't be prepared to install extra software.
That's a very serious drawback that makes the ActiveX extension virtually useless.

Thanks for the Replies. I was not even thinking about license-Terms of the ActiveX-Controls.
I' ve found some Free-ActiveX-Controls on the Web. I' ll play around with some of them and
will report back when i' ve found some useful Controls.

    Thanks again for your Replies.

    With kind regards
