    Depth?

    Hello!
    Observe the following:http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...nUu-Odn0#t=77s

Notice how the walls in the background move as the perspective changes when the character moves. I assume that this is done by using the perspective object or such, but how?
I've tried employing the perspective object, but the way it changes is much more "pixelated" than this appears to be.
Can this effect be achieved by other means?

That is parallaxing. It can be accomplished with layers or without. I have two open source examples for this on my website. One without layers and one with layers.

Oh I'm aware of parallaxing, what I'm referring to is the wall that is pointing "towards" the player, so as to give the illusion of 3D. You have a wall close to the player, and a wall in the background, and then there's a wall that points "towards" the player, and the perspective of that changes.

Correct, it is more than just parallaxing.

Certain objects in the background are being stretched based on their distance from the centre of the frame.

No sorry, I must be blind. I tried searching for "werbad's 3d shader" but nothing turns up as far as links go. I see people mentioning it, but no links?
