I'm having trouble storing data in my iOS application. In my current project, I'm trying to save a value via the INI object, then have that value trigger an action. The first frame of the app sets the INI filename to "slot0.ini" and value to 1, then in a later frame, I'm trying to trigger an action based on whether or not the INI file's value is 0. Everything works fine in Windows, but when I run it through Xcode an EXC_BAD_ACCESS error occurs and redirects me to "type = value->type;" in the CValue.m file.
I've made an app before where everything works fine, for some reason. The player's score increases throughout the game, constantly changing the "score.ini" file to the current score. In a different frame, a Congrats message appears if the player's score is a highscore. This method uses a trigger based on INI values and works totally fine, unlike my current project.
I'd really appreciate anyones help! Thanx
