Bugs when switching to another tag then back

    Hi
I am experiencing some nasty buggs when i runn my MMF2 Flash application, switch to another tab in my Browser ( Firefox ) for about 5 - 10 secounds, and then swich back.
    What i am experiencing is:

    #1
Some graphics get pasted to the screenand wont go away after i swich back to the game.
Specifically its an Active Object smoke trail for a projectile.
( i am not destroying the smoke trail from the event editot, its only animation is the 'disapearing' animation, and the Object should destroy itself after animation is complete )

    #2
The projectile is generating a smoke trail through a timer based Event.
When i swich back to the game, the smoke trail is generate more frequently than it should for a period of time.

    #3
Sometimes ( 1 time so far ), the graphics for my projectile does not uppdate. The screen scrolls forward as if it is moving correctly, but visually it just stays at its point of creation.
    ...
    Why is this happening?
Is there anything i can do to fix this?

Flash by nature doesn't do well while the tab is not in focus. Most games program an "auto pause" screen to make the game pause when the game does not have focus.

I managed to eliminate this 'undesierable effect'.
I have created a customized pause function wich brings up a pause menu, and also stopps scrolling and all movement and animation.

I used the Window Controll object to check if my application had focus and triggered the pause if it didint.
I didnt know the Flash Player Object also had this functionality, but now i do.
