    Export animation to gif?

    Hello,

I'd like to export the animation frames of an active object to a GIF. I could manually copy each frame, but there are hundreds!

    Any ideas?

    Hi Chris Burrows,

in the Picture/Animation-Editor, there' s an "Export"-Function. Sadly you can not directly export to GIF, but you can export a whole animation-sequence as numbered image-files. (ex. pic1, pic2, pic3, pic4). It automaticaly exports all the Frames of the Animation.

Then you need some Kind of "Gif-Creator" where you can load in the "numbered image-files" and compile them into a GIF-Animation.

I' ll check if i find a Freeware-GIF-Creator for You. I' ll post back when i was successfull.

    LG, jahkri

Jahkri, Microsoft GIF Animator is still one of the best cheap-and-easy GIF tools around.

Regardless, good luck with what you're trying to do, Chris.
