Have you registered with Microsoft for $99 a year? You must be, otherwise you'll get the GameServices error.

Something is wrong with those files -- Not sure what. I always jump right to something involving unicode with ASD.
I get the same error on my non-unicode MMF2D.

The GamerService error is odd and is whats causing the problem. I think (un-knowledgeably) somehow something got check in MMF or Visual C# that doesn't work with building an XNA game for Windows or its using some sort of services that require you to sign up with Microsoft.

    But as I said .. I don't really know.

I do know the below files work on my computer.
I can compile them and run them.

Here is a C# source that compiles on my computer
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13349291/Spacer_XNA_Source.zip

Here is a published XNA application
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13349291/Spacer_Published.zip

NOTE -- The game is incomplete - Just something I was playing with to see how it ran under XNA.

    hello.
    "Microsoft.Xna.Framework.GamerServices.GamerServic e sNotAvailableException " is XNA LIVE-specific.
These are not included in the XNA Framework redistributable.

    http://forums.create.msdn.com/forums/t/85332.aspx

Jeff's sample file is work on my PC, but this machine installed VC# and GameStudio 4.0.
I dont know this is a technical specification..
but CT's XNA exporter for windows PC build option have to install VC# and GameStudio.

You have to register at Microsoft for $99 a year, and this message will go away.

I don't remember signing up for it and I don't have the message.
Maybe I did but it does seem odd to build XNA for windows you would have to pay Microsoft.

Jeff's sample file did not run on the ASD's computer.
But his computer was not installed VC# and Game Studio 4.0.

I have tryed to test on the VMware, this is clean installed windows XPsp3 and the XNA Framework Redistributable 4.0 and etc...( did not installed GS4, or not to pay for Microsoft).
Jeff's sample file can not run on this test enviroment.

So i did comment out several points from his source cords, and this is it.
    http://prester.org/mmf2/wp-content/u...rce_custom.zip

    http://prester.org/mmf2/wp-content/u...cer_custom.zip

I dont know that the reason why the exporter's default settings is always includ GameService.

My files will be run my test enviroment and the "XNAGameService" is not always need in this case.
This components are not includ in the XNA Framework Redistributable 4.0.

I hope to that if it is a possible, to change the defaults did not use GameService if my xna application is not a necessary thing that (for xna windows build).

Sorry for my poor English, and thanks.
