    Joystick Support

    hey everyone I'm new and I used Game Maker for some time, some one on IndieDB said this engine is better, so far it is better, I mean I'm a fresh Indie who programs for PC and soon XBOX 360(The Indie Arcade) I heard this engnie could port to XNA which is awesome! My question is for PC developement how do I implement Joystick (XBOX360) controls?

    Have you tried the Joystick 2 object?

    Currently the XNA export is in beta testing. I think you can PM a Clickteam member like Jamie to ask to be part of the testing, though I do not recall if it is still open for testing...

    EDIT: http://community.clickteam.com/showthread.php?t=68208&p=505665#post505665 <-- Apparently Jamie says Francois. (;

    Wait is the Joystick 2 button only for the full version, cause I'm only trying out the demo.

    Ah, yes, it's only for the full version.

    The Joypad object may have some limited support for it, I believe at least that is with the demo...

    You can buy a XBOX360 joystick for PC, with a USB Cable. Then it works perfectly with the XBOXGamepad object.

    Its part of the XNA export module. I don't think it has been ported over to the regular windows runtime.
