    How to make player completly stop after getting hurt and colliding with an obstacle

    Hey guys Im really havin trouble with this, i just keep coming up with bugs. When the player gets hit/hurt and moves back into an obstacle sometimes the player gets stuck there in the obstacle.
    (the enemy pushes player when player get hurts but most of the time the player gets stuck on obstacle)

    Like how you program fast loops for regular movement, I guess it's best to try and come up with another set of fast loops for the 'getting hurt' part of your player.

    im sorry i dont know how to work with the fast loops can u showme an example of this?

    Check DavidN's platform tutorial. It uses a very VERY basic script of fast loops for platform movements and such.

    Basically, what it is doing is, adding 1 to a position of an object. When the object is hitting, or collides with a wall, you want it to subtract 1 from position. The fast loop here just makes the movement of the player move faster than 1 pixel per loop.

    For your problem with a getting hit motion, just reverse the movement in this tutorial is showing you.
