    Best tip, take it easy first time on a level, get as far as you can in the hive levels until your sum time is low, then go back to some of the previous levels. You'll notice two things - first these early levels are not as hard as they were before, secondly racing against your ghost bee makes it a bit easier to get a better time. Remember on the default control hold the screen with one finger to speed up, two fingers to slow down. The other control methods let you control speed in different ways.

    It's a game you can keep having a go at, but I do find the very later levels get a bit tricky It's all possible to do, my son playtested and completed the game several times during development.

    I thought the ghost bee was a very impressive feature! Not sure how you pulled that one off. Array maybe?

    Yes it's done with an array. It turned out to be very simple to do. One array to record your current movement and another to replay a previous one for the Ghost Bee. I'm using an array set to accept numbers and store the x and y position in one array slot (using a divide and a MOD) so it doesn't use up as much space to store it. I store a value every n-th game loops rather than every game loop which further reduces the amount of information I have to store.

    On playback I pull out a value on the same n-th game loop as they were recorded and this is set as the target x and y position for the ghost bee. The Ghost Bee moves gradually towards the next x/y target based upon the game loops - ie: I know it's start position (the last target) and I know it's end position (the new target) so you can calculate the actual x/y position in between using the game loop number between n-th minus 1 and n-th.

    I guess this would be a good idea for an extension (for all platforms) if any extension devs are looking for an idea for a next project ;-)

    AndyH - very well presented, but quite tricky to play! I've settled on the thumbstick control system (I can't see any other way some of the time pickups are possible with the accelerometer). Interested to know what control systems other people use to play this game.

    Finally managed to complete Alfalfa with 22 - nice surprise! Unfortunately the new features in Buckwheat are too much for me ;-)

    Love the fact you have 4 game slots, wish some of the big companies would do this so I can keep track of MY progress on games like Where's My Water and Bejeweled when my girlfriend has been playing it too! She hasn't played Bee In A Bubble yet, but she probably will!
