    Calc text rect object

This is a brilliant extension and has helped me do so many things over the years, I just have 1 problem if you have some text with a & in it for some reason it never calculates that and ends up cutting the end off

Is it possible to get it to calculate an & or &'s like the rest of the text?

    Thanks Richard H

Sounds like that's a bug with the extension, so I don't think there would be a true way to calculate the text width accurately unless the extension were updated (and the developer is no longer active). It probably has to do with the fact that Windows interprets the ampersand as an indicator of a key character, so it skips over ampersands so the developer doesn't have to remove them.

You could work around the problem by using the Substring Replace object to replace every ampersand with a character that has a similar size (maybe a 3?) and that Calculate Text Rect would detect. You could feed the modified string to the extension and it should calculate it almost perfectly.

Thanks for your reply, I will have a go at doing the above :-)
