    Thumbs up [Demo] Smooth Graphics

    In the current version from the MMF2 Runtime Flash, your created swf has no smooth antialiasing graphics. My directly edit in the Runtime Flash change this to smooth graphics! Is one line and works perfectly, see here:

    This is my own RuntimeFlash-File:
    http://mmf.nijumi.de/new/examples/smooth.html

    And this is the original MMF-RuntimeFlash:
    http://mmf.nijumi.de/new/examples/smoothWithout.html

    The problem is, I can't make a extension about this.. the mainproblem is in the runtime-flash directly.
    And I can't share my own edit RuntimeFlash-File, I don't know clickteam like this

    Wow! What edit did you make? You don't have to share the file, just list the parts of the file changed. That's all we need. Then, we can back up our old file so we can use the non-smooth version if needed, and then use the smooth version when we want to.

    Here the steps:

    + First, you copy the RuntimeFlash.dat file from your MMF2 Folder to the folder with the "flash_tool.exe" (I can't find this programm on this board, but its here... :-/ )
    + Then you make a zip-file with the flash_tool and your RuntimeFlash.dat
    + Extract the new RuntimeFlash.zip
    + Go to the extracted folder - Objects and open the CActive.as file
    + Go to this line (246) and change this

    if (image!=null)
    {
    bitmap.bitmapData=image.img;
    }

    to this:

    if (image!=null)
    {
    bitmap.bitmapData=image.img;
    }

    bitmap.smoothing = true;

    + Now, pack all files from you extracted folder with winzip to a zip file (named to RuntimeFlash.zip)
    + Copy this file to the flash_tool folder
    + Use the flash_tool to make a dat file from the new RuntimeFlash.zip
    + Replace the old RuntimeFlash.dat in your MMF-Folder with the new RuntimeFlash.dat

    thats all

    Ah, okay. *Follows instructions...*

    EDIT: Wait, so I need to download something first? Oh. Guess I'll need to wait then, unless I can find a way to do it with a different program...

    EDIT 2: Yeah, I'm gonna have to wait...

    The smoothing option is set to true when you use the set scale or angle action, depending on the second parameter.
    So if you want to set it from the events, just do a Set scale 1.0, 1

    Here's flash_tool: http://community.clickteam.com/showthread.php?t=66385

    How do you make a new zip with the flash_tool? If I open the exe, it just closes quickly without doing anything. I've tried running it as an administrator, but it still does the same thing.

    The bitmap.smoothing and stage quality settings in AS3 can lower the FPS depending on whats being done so it should have a property also.

    However if a line of code makes the graphics nicer clickteam should just update the code rather than people having to use that .dat decompiler program.

    Ha sorry. The option wasn implemented with Set Angle action. So if you do a Set Angle 0, 1, it will set the graphics to smooth.
    I have ported it to scale also.
