Is there a way to import flash drawings into MMF2?

Actionscript is way over my head and I remembered taking a class for MMF2. The programming is a lot easier and I was able to get a prototype done in it with little trouble. but here's the thing. I'm not a huge fan of the pixel-y drawing program they have in MMF2 and prefer using Flash CS5 for my drawings. I've been having some troubles with importing drawings into MMF2. The static drawings I don't have as much trouble wtih but when i try to import an animation as a .gif into an Active set piece, I get this weird white boarder to my characters. Does anyone know a better way to import animations or to get rid of the white boarder?

Export each frame as a PNG file with a transparent background maybe? I hardly ever use Flash or any vector based art programs, so I'm not sure.

I was hoping to avoid that but after testing several other methods it seems to be the only way to get it to work. Thanks.

There' s also the Flash-Vector extension where you can use svg-image-files in your Flash-Application.
