I am planning to come and trying to persuade a couple of other Clickers as well... I might not be there for the full 24 hours but should be there for most of the day (I'll be traveling from Oxford). What's the official start time?
Hi, thanks for getting in touch! I look forward to meeting you on the dayWe'll be kicking off around 10:30am although CB2 is open from 10am so people are welcome to turn up any time after opening. We have the upstairs until 10:30pm, after which I suspect at least a few of us will be headed off to a pub or something.
I don't know how you are planning to get to Cambridge but just thought I'd mention that MegaBus runs from Oxford to Cambridge and you can get some really cheap fares on there, between £2 and £10 return are available right now. This is the one and only route they offer to Cambridge, for everyone else's reference.
See here: http://uk.megabus.com/JourneyResults...=&withReturn=1
I will be coming as well. AS a complete noob who has just started using MMF2 this seems like a good opportunity to see how experienced users are using it.![]()
Excellent, thanks for getting in touch Vitae, I look forward to meeting you on the day!![]()

Myself and maybe one or two others may be interested in coming to this. I have only just read it though as I have been away for a while
This event is only for the 12 hours on the one day correct? I come from Birmingham so would be looking to get a train in and out rather than pay for a hotel / b&b of some kind.
Also how big are the teams going to be set sizes for the competition stuff, or just some general info on how that will work would be good.
Excellent Spike, I hope that you can make it
The coaches to Digbeth stop around 7pm from Cambridge, and the last train is at 20:15 to New Street (with 3 changes, going via London for some reason!). There's one at 8pm with no changes.
The event itself will run 10am - 10:30pm... it's fine if you want/need to leave early but if you can stay at all I'd highly recommend itThose who want to will be going to the pub afterwards most likely which is always fun
No pressure though... do what suits you the best on the day.

Do we need to bring anything to this event (a laptop for example?)? And do you have any idea on the numbers you are expecting?
Hi Spike,
if you wish to participate in programming or anything which requires the use of a computer, then a laptop will be required. I've had 20 people say they want to come... I don't suppose everyone will from that list for various reasons... I guess 10+ is a good guess, also depends on any guests who come along too. From Clickteam, James and I will be at the UK jam.

Ok, just to confirm myself, and two others (one of which has never used click software) are attending.
