Who is organizing this? Where will it be held? How many people are expected to come?

WHO?
I am organizing this ClickJam.
Feel free to send me a PM with any questions you might have

WHERE?
The Jam will be held at Bitraf 'Darres Gate 24' in Oslo ( same location as Ludum Dare 24 ).

The ClickJam is 100% free and does not require any kind of entrance fee.

WHEN?
The Jam will start at 10:00 AM and last 12 hours ending at 10:00 PM ( 10:00 - 22:00 ).
If the attendants feel this is too long or want to end earlier, i reserve the right to do so.

HOW?: DRIVING
If you are driving this is the rout you need to take from Oslo Central Station:


HOW?: PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

If you are using public transportation you can take the buss from Oslo Central to 'Alexander Kiellands plass'.
The buss times from Oslo Central to 'Alexander Kiellands plass' Saturday the 18th are as follows:

19:18 ( buss number 54 )
19:26 ( buss number 34 )
19:33 ( buss number 54 )
19:41 ( buss number 34 )
The buss ride takes about 13 minutes.

Bitraf is approximately a 5 minute walk from 'Alexander Kiellands plass':

Ive made a 'free for all' Event at meetup.com and there are currently 3 attendants registered ( including myself ).
Please feel free to visit meetup.com and join the Event, or just let us know you are coming here on the Forum!

As for how many will actually show up is hard for me to say at this point.
I have yet to contact friends and acquaintances, and am also going to contact a local school which might be interested in this kind of thing.

Am looking forward to a fun and successful ClickJam!

Thanks for posting! Yeah, it would be nice if everyone interested shows their interest. Myself I don't think I will be able to make it this time. I should have known about it a month ago so I wouldn't spend all my money allready!

If its too early just join us whenever you can within the duration of the Jam, no problem
If you want to join the competition however, it would be best to be present between 11:00 - 11:30 AM.

I think I'll be able to make it, but I am not sure if I can get hold of a laptop. Will there be availible pc's or do I need to bring one?

I have tried to get a hold of an extra Laptop, but it has prooven difficoult.
I do have an extra laptop myself, but a dead power supply and cord causes it to overheat and shut down pretty fast ( Its a HP laptop running Vista i think ).

It would be best to bring your own.

Bitraf do have computers avalable with Linux ( you could successfully run MMF2 with a third party plugin such as Wine on some of theese ), but they are only available to use by Bitraf members ( wich require a minimum membership fee of 300 NOK as listed on Bitrafs pages ).

I have decided not to come afterall. It is just to difficult right now with transport / money etc. I wish you all good luck and hope you have a really good time, and I'll try my best to be on the next one instead, hopefully that one will be announced long before the actual event
