How to load An Animated Image from file?

hey guys this may sound simple, how do i load an animated in frame?

Do you mean a video file? If so, there are lots of extensions to do that.

A gif File actually so i meant an animated gif. how to load an animated gif?

Actually, I'm not sure if there is a way to do that. However, if you save multiple files with numbers after them like "Image_001.png" and "Image_002.png", with "Image_001.png" being the first frame and "Image_002.png" being the second, then you can load them as an animation.

Is this picture going to be an active object? if so, double click it or click edit, open your animated gif and in the new window make sure that "import as animation" box is checked.
