Hi Cole,
http://www.intergalaxia.com/beta/InterGalaXia.ccgame - is the right link, god knows what's going on above lol
Did a quick test and everything seems fine now Danny![]()
Fantastic!
Cole, I cannot thank you enough for your assistance especially with the debugging you've been an essential shoulder to lean on. I'll ensure I pop you in the credits!
I just did another test (now I have my second pad) and I managed to throw a Code4 on purchasing. I believe this was because I had
+Player(s) can purchase
+Game is in Trial Mode
But i had no:
+Player(s) have signed in
Just re-compiling now to see if that works, I see no reason why it should then we're off to Peer Review. Due to the lack of Playtest reviews I am hoping I can at least get it peer reviewed, I have reviewed quite a few games on the AppHub website however it would appear not a single person has tested mine even with a link in sig and extensive Twitter posting. Let's hope...
I haven't had time to do a complete thourough test (and also Microsoft have changed the XNA site so all my saved links to the checklists/guides are broken!)
I just checked the common pitfalls that I had to deal with. It's worth checking through as thoroughly as you can before submitting for peer review.
Well, I just tested again after a recompile and it still throws a Code4 if I try purchase with an offline account, is this not a fail?
I tried on second controller with my ONLINE (not apphub) account and that simulated a purchase. I think Code4 is ok if you try and purchase with an offline account? I cannot find the Evil Checklist since MS changed the websites and Google holds no cache even for the exact URL.
Edit: (Found): http://xbox.create.msdn.com/en-US/re...evil_checklist
Edit2: Silly me, because it doesn't show in the condition I missed that I had copied the condition (Player(s) can purchase) with an index of 1, when in fact it should be 2,3,4 separate. I'll recompile and test now.
