    So you want to change the following directions to these values for your counter:
    0 >8
    8 > 0
    16 > 24
    24 > 16

    Looks like what you need is Set Counter to (40-direction) Mod 32

    AyreGuitar is right.
    No need for conditions or anything when MMF2 already has modulus in it. It's as simple as one expression.

    That's smooth. Thanks, AyreGuitar. I'm curious about how you thought of this. Did it just come to you? Have you had to make something like this before? I know what Mod does, but have never been able to use it creatively.

    Your welcome, glad to help.
    Perhaps if I wrote it as (32-(direction+8)) Mod 32 it would be a little easier to understand?
    All I did was see that you wanted to change the zero position from 0 to 8 (the +8 in the above calculation) and switch from anticlockwise to clockwise (32-direction)
    With directions, you generally need to use mod 32, because direction values go from 0-31, so 32 becomes 0, 33 becomes 2, etc.
    Of course, having a good education in maths helps too!

    many thanks guys! i can't wait to test it, i'm a little bit far away from my home (holiday stuff).
    hard to understand the "mod" feature, my mathematix skills are poor but nice to see this easy solutions. i couldn't have done it without your help, so thanks again!
