Angry Midi object - DarkWire Software - plz help!

    hi guys!

i have a big problem, my favourite tool (midi object) don't work when i build into application.

"Cannot load midi.mfx. This object might need an external program or library not yet installed."

btw it works well in the MMF2 test mode.

do i need any dll files or something?

plz help me, its very very annoying.

    cheers,

    p

Did you double check to see if the midi.mfx file is inside your MMF2 runtime folder?
Maybe it was deleted by accident.

Sometimes the .mfx just doesn't work, I remember I had the hardest time getting the surface object to work even though I put copies of it everywhere in every MMF folder I could (lol).

I love MMF2, but man it's just weird sometimes ain't it?

You can always try contacting the person who made the extension
    http://dark-wire.com/contact.php

Sounds like it needs some supporting libraries you haven't installed yet.
(Nothing MMF can do about this if they don't give you all the required stuff)

Mr. Tim made the extension, I'll send him an email
In the meantime, ensure the object is up to date, and that you recognise the capitalisation of w in Darkwire

Sorry for the off-topic, but Del_Duio, you didn't get Surface to work? Ehh... I know why some extensions won't run on some PC's, and Surface doesn't have that issue for sure - maybe your build was simply too old.
