    Problem with Active Picture Backgrounds

I got a suggestion to make an active picture as a background if I wanted to put events in to change at the designated levels (Global Value L #s). And it works fantastic!.... on my computer. Not on the other two people who i've sent it to who only see a blank white background. On mine, it looks exactly as it should. I tried changing file names for the images, it still displays them in the game on my computer... help?

I suspect it's the path you're using for your images. That path may not exist on these other computers. Use something like AppDir$+AppPath$+<filename> and don't forget to include the images in your distributable file.

Bingo, it reads it off the directory on my PC. OKAY, so... how do I include the images in the game then in a way I can reference them? Sorry, this is uncharted territory for me, If there's a tutorial or something on precisely what steps one would take in the behavior, I kinda need it step by step..

Down a bit in this one it goes over using the event editor to display your images.

Hello Jeff.....I'm developing a iOS app and I'm using active picture obj.....if I want to load some images when I touch in some button, can I use the expression Appdir$+”imgs\img01.jpg” in my events then when I go to Xcode I create the img folder and paste my images there? I can make in this method or I need to use another one?

    thanks, best regards

    That "should work"

Best thing to do is to give it a try and if you have some problems post up in the iOS forum.
Andos and Francois can then look into and figure out whats happening.
