As in the original .gam .cnc or .mfa files? You can't/shouldn't really grab stuff from the EXE but if you have the original project file (and it isn't "protected" since pre-MMF products used 'protection' on the files since they had to be supplied with the EXE) then you can just open it up and go to the media panel (there's a little button for it up top, looks like a musical note and stuff) you can see all the sounds and export it.

You can't do that using MMF2, you would have to use another program. And besides, unless you are making your game for yourself and only yourself, you can't use sounds from other games legally, as they are under copyright.

at all the voices aren't copyright in Super Mario XP, i don't use MMF2 to record stuff, i might need a decompiler so i can get the sounds.

Incorrect, from what I know, any graphics or sounds that are made, as long as they are creative (E.G more than text on a solid-colored background, or stick figures without any advanced details like really realistic hair), are under copyright unless they are under the public domain, and, even though I don't have Super Mario XP, I'm doubting that the sounds in it are under public domain. I have the feeling that this thread is going to get locked. As a matter of fact, I'm requesting that this thread get locked now. *Request lock*

Well... if they are voices/sounds from the actual Nintendo games, then those are copyright by Nintendo, whether someone else used it in a fan game or not.
