Out of interest, I had a quick look through the documentation but couldn't really figure out if you can send remote pushes? If so, how? Is this something done under a dev account?

Ah yeh, remote notifications need a certificate generated in your Apple Portal.
When I was first learning Remote Push Notifications I followed this tutorial.

    http://www.raywenderlich.com/3443/ap...torial-part-12

I see no point in writing my own when this is quite elaborate already.

    Does this help you?

    Hi Tim,
I've tried to use the extension. Whenever I add the extension object to the App, it will not run on the iPhone.
The App freeze in the first displayed screen and will not react to any screen touch.
I've removed the extension and then the App runs without any problems.
Just adding the extension to the App is enough to make it freeze, even without any MMF code using the extension. I've checked this a few times.

This is the most I can test at the moment, when its fixed I will happily continue testing.

    Hey Yos,
This is very weird, because I can't seem to replicate it no matter what I do.
Would you be able to send me a pm with a sample mfa that demonstrates this issue?

    Regards
    Tim

    Hi Tim,
I've spent a few hours trying to pin-point what is the cause of the problem.
I tried to delete items from my App or modify them (INI calls, timers and others) to see if there is any change.
So far I cannot pin-point the cause, although it might be related to the use of timers.
Cannot send the app itself. I'll do some more investigation to try and find the cause.
I'll let you know when I find a clue.

    Hey,
would you be able to do a test for me?
Create a new application add just an iOS button and my extension and schedule a local notification for, say, 2 seconds after its tapped. And see if that works.
Obviously you'll have to export and test on either the simulator or iOS device as the pc runtime is just a dummy
That way you'll be able to rule out my extension as a root cause but it may be a connection of extensions potentially interfering with each other that break it.

    Regards
    Tim
