Hi there! I'm currently trying to create a system of teleporters, where stepping into one will make you come out at another, and stepping into that one will take you back.
I want to accomplish this without having to use several unique objects.
So far I have tried spreading 0 in alterable value A of the teleporter object, henceforth called "IdValue".
Upon contact with the teleporter object, the "teleporterId" of the player is set to the value of the teleporter objects "IdValue"+1.
Upon initiating teleport, the players status is set to "Teleport", and I have an event that says
If string Status of player is "Teleport"
teleporterId of player is equal to IdValue of teleporter object
set player position to position of teleporter object
There seems to be a problem with the object selection in this case, since the teleport never happens.
